Located in San Joaquin County in California’s Central Valley, Stockton served as an inland port during the gold rush era, connected by the San Joaquin River to the San Francisco Bay.  Stockton was also the first settlement in California to not have a named derived from Spanish or Native American origin.  While the First National reports 15 Large and 30 small notes in the Census.  This note is 1 OF ONLY 2 - 1902 Plain Bank notes reported.
